We have a holiday home in Marathea, and it’s a great place for a vacation.

I’ve been coming here for 25 years and love it. It’s a simple simplex with a nice big pool for kids and adults, plus a lovely ocean view, though you can’t see the beach. The promenade is a 200 m walk away. It feels safe and friendly. It can get noisy at night from the backpackers next door and the road out front, depending on which unit you’re in. I’d rate it four stars.
