The Pickle Residence

The apartment felt clean and modern, and there was staff available. Security inside the apartments was good. At night, though, there were some unsavory people hanging around outside the shops downstairs. Thankfully, the entrance is around the back.

The pickle-themed decor was a fun touch, and the staff were really friendly. The apartment was roomy and very clean. I'd highly recommend staying here.

We spent a miserable night in the heat because the air-conditioning stopped working. The place was fully booked, so we couldn't move rooms. The manager suggested we had caused the problem, saying it had worked the previous day and during the pre-check-in check. The shower was dirty, there was barely any hand soap, and we had to wash all the dishes ourselves. One room's kettle smelled horrendous, like someone had defecated in it. The owners need to keep a closer eye on the staff. Their attitude was poor, the rooms weren't properly cleaned, and the place felt neglected.

The place was spacious, nice, and well equipped. What I didn't like was the sign on a table in the passage saying guests should only use halal food during their stay. It felt like religious coercion, and we were only told about this after arriving, not when we booked.
