Beautiful view, lovely host "M", and great service. I loved everything about the lodge and will definitely return.

For a one-night business trip, this was perfect, and I'd gladly come back and recommend a stay. The staff were pleasant and happy to share what was happening around town. I also liked the pool area. There were only a few drinks available from the kitchen, though. My room was neat and tidy, with none of the noticeable issues mentioned in some reviews. The rug in the Loft Room has seen better days and could be replaced, but it's a small thing.

The place is very quiet, which suited working, and the WiFi was good. There's also a large generator onsite. The food was good and the portions generous. My room had a bit of a dump smell, and the linen and towels, though clean, were rather old and need replacing.

A quiet spot that works for both work and leisure, with clean rooms and lovely, down-to-earth staff across the board, from the host and chef to the cleaners and owner. The owner happened to pop in and she's beautiful inside and out. The host and chef are great, too. When you're in a rush, they even pack food and juice in takeaway containers. How amazing is that? I'm coming back.
