Marlene, the owner and host, is a gem, so friendly and helpful. We spent two nights at Port Wine Guesthouse, and breakfast was a highlight. It changed from the first morning, which was a nice surprise. The wifi was good too. We usually don't watch TV on trips, though this time we might have if there had been one in the room. Still, it's a great place to stay in Calitzdorp, and we'd happily recommend it.

Marlene made us feel very welcome, and breakfast was delicious. The guest house is immaculate, with tasteful decor and quality throughout. Even the small comforts were thought of, from bottled drinking water to a Nespresso machine. A must stay in Calitzdorp.

The owner was friendly and helpful, and the home cooked breakfast was a standout. We had a quiet, peaceful overnight stay in a lovely courtyard, close to the wineries and township. Parking was secure and off the street. Great value, and we'll be back.

Breakfast was a highlight, and we really appreciated the warm hospitality in this charming building. The setting is lovely, with vineyards nearby. Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area.

Waldo made us feel incredibly welcome, and the rates were great. Port Wine guest house has comfortable rooms, a pleasant lounge and outdoor seating, and a brilliant location with views over the boplaas vineyards. A really lovely spot.
