We loved it! Rustic, but well worth it. It's a comfortable spot for a weekend stopover, close enough to town to be convenient while still away from the noise. If you're bird lovers like us, it's incredible.

The hosts were so friendly and helpful that I felt right at home. Bushwhacked is spotless and peaceful, surrounded by nature, with lovely views of Barberton. A great place for birding.

We had a blast staying at Bushwhacked during the Barberton paragliding competition in June 2025. The place is lovely, and Cathrine is an absolute gem of a person. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. Thanks so much. We'll definitely be back next year.

The views and atmosphere at Bushwacked will definitely bring us all back on our next visit. We had a wonderful stay this past week while competing in our annual paragliding competition. Catherine was an excellent, very accommodating host.

We rented the main house and cabin for almost two weeks and had such a blast. Catherine is the best, so accommodating, and we're already looking forward to next year! PS, if you're here in July and smell the braai and hear the music pumping, just come join us. 😁
