Lemoenfontein Game Lodge

The people were warm, happy, and true, and the meals were proper South African boerekos. Even the gravel road helps set the scene for a game lodge. I wasn’t expecting much, but what a gem: a big, luxurious room with good appointments and a shower spacious enough for a big man. Highly recommended.

The bar has a good view of the farm, and Justice is always on hand to help and offer advice. We stayed five days and had everything we needed. The spacious rooms were very comfortable, and the breakfasts ticked all the boxes. I’d definitely recommend Lemoenfontein and will be back when I’m in the area.

A great choice for an overnight stop in the Karoo. The farm style breakfast and delicious buffet dinner were a treat, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms have good beds and bathrooms with plenty of space. There’s lots of game to see, along with hiking and running trails, all set on beautiful grounds with spectacular views.
