We needed a peaceful place during our inter-city move, and 6 on Acacia worked perfectly. From 14-16 Jan 2026, our family of two and our very small, very vocal cat had a huge suite where we could decamp and decant our things while in transit. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, parking safe, and the surroundings peaceful. The staff on site were lovely and accommodating. Special thanks to Karen and the rest of your team. We’d happily recommend you to anyone and hope to stay again when we’re back in Joburg.

Everything else about our evening stay was wonderful for our group of 8 adults in 2 rooms. The one issue was hot water: it ran out in under 5 minutes, so some people ended up with ice cold showers, not great in winter.

The staff were friendly and professional, and they gladly sorted out our request for bubble bath. The rooms are quiet and luxurious, making this a superb spot for a quick getaway. Breakfast was lovely, and the nesspresso machine was a perfect start to the day. Thanks, Benita and Desiree. We’ll definitely return!

Whenever I’m in jhb, I stay here. The staff are friendly, helpful, and make the place feel safe. A big thank you to Karin for being so welcoming and cooking the best supper I’ve ever had at a bnb. Supper’s available on request. Highly recommend staying here.

Desiree and the staff were amazing, and I got the best service and value for money at 6 on Acacia. I’d usually stay at another guesthouse nearby, just a street below Acacia in Van Buren Road, but after this visit I won’t stay anywhere else. Lovely place.
