Nice place overall, and everything was very clean and tidy. The en-suite bed, though, was incredibly hard and uncomfortable, like sleeping on a concrete floor.

Our kids had a great time, and the whole stay felt like being at home. The place was lovely and clean, and everything was even better than we expected. The kind, friendly staff went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful visit. We felt it was well worth what we paid and would highly recommend it.

The place is beautiful and clean, but I can’t recommend staying unless the security is improved. Someone was able to get into the house and reach the bedroom, where my parents were stabbed while they slept. That makes it hard to feel anyone is safe there. I hope we hear back about planned improvements such as CCTV, an electric security fence, or guards. With those measures in place, a stay could be enjoyable.

We had a bad stay. The fridge didn’t work and all our meat spoiled, and the owner made us move the fridge ourselves. Wi-Fi was out for the two days we were there and only came back on our last day. The owner’s attitude was unacceptable.

The staff were friendly and really helpful, and made us comfortable during our stay from 29 December to 3 January 2023. Load shedding nearly put a damper on things, but since we were in self-catering rooms, they let us use the main house kitchen to cook. It might help to have gas stoves, even the cylinder kind. Thanks for the solar backup.
