A real escape from the busy life, and I’d definitely come back. The place is beautiful, with a lovely kitchen, lounge, bedroom and pool area. The animals on the property were amazing to see, and the game drive and game farm were really insightful. At night, you can hear the lion roar. Natalie, the owner, and her daughter were amazing. It’s nice and quiet, while still being very close to the city and malls. The photos don’t do it justice at all. Ten out of ten, a home away from home.

We had booked and paid on Saturday because we needed a place near a wedding. I called many times to let the establishment know we’d arrive late, but couldn’t reach anyone. We ended up not staying there, and they refused to refund us, blaming bad signal and load shedding. Be very careful about booking this place.

The bonus game drive was beyond words. Our host was deeply passionate about the reserve and very familiar with all the animals, from tiger and lions to hyena and even crocodile. The chalets were much better than advertised, and the surrounding area is rich in wildlife and plant life. The owners have brought nature and hospitality together with real care, and their work for the animals should be an example to the world. An amazing experience. We’ll return for as long as the place exists, and highly recommend it.

The place is beautiful and very clean, though there’s no coffee station. That could be improved, but otherwise it’s lovely.
