We stayed two nights in the room-only cottage, parked beside it, and ate at The Border Post restaurant. The cottage was comfortable, and the views were incredible. It was serviced in the morning while we were out. There’s wifi, though it cuts in and out, and the cellphone signal is also patchy. DSTV is no longer available, so you’ll need to use your own streaming service, which doesn’t work very well with the unreliable signal. Still, you’re not really there to watch TV, are you? I’d happily stay again. It’s close to Bergville, Sterkfontein Dam, and Golden Gate Highlands National Park.

We stayed in the six-sleeper and had a great time, thanks. The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable, and the kitchen was lovely to cook in. We also took a scenic walk down to the dam.

I had a good time and even managed to do some fishing. The view is breathtaking, and it’s a lovely spot for a weekend break with your wife or husband. The restaurant food is a little expensive, but that aside, I enjoyed the stay.

It was a bit cold when we stopped here on our way to Drakenburg Sun Resort, but the fireplace in my chalet kept us cosy and we loved it. We also walked up the mountain and got a fabulous view. We really enjoyed our time and would consider coming back.

I use this place for stopovers. The rooms are spacious, and it’s always clean and quiet. Definitely recommend it.
