The gardens make for a beautiful setting, and the rooms are modern and well equipped for a comfortable stay. I’d happily come back. I did want to flag one issue with breakfast: we weren’t told at check-in that we had to choose from a form and book it the day before. It seemed to be an oversight, but when I raised it, the staff member made it sound as if we were at fault instead of apologising. I hope future guests get the instructions clearly. Apart from that, it was a pleasant stay.

We came for a rugby tournament, and the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, from eggs, meats and pastries to grains, fruit and sandwiches. The dining and community room was a fun place for travelers and locals to meet and chat. The hotel itself is beautiful, with clean, comfortable rooms and spacious bathrooms. Top marks for the staff, the service was A++. Love this place.

The lodge is peaceful, and our room was spotless and smelled lovely. We stayed five nights and six days. Marta, the caretaker, was super helpful and friendly, and the service was out of this world. I’ll definitely be back.

The rooms had plenty of space, and it’s a nice place. Breakfast choices were a bit limited for anyone avoiding pork. It was also a hassle having to dash from the carport to the rooms in the rain. Some shelter there would be great.
