My room had just what I needed for four days, and the staff were helpful and really pleasant. It’s a quiet, safe place in Bloemfontein, and I’d recommend it.

We had car trouble on the way back from a holiday in Cpt, and the owners did so much to help. They drove us back and forth to the garage and shops so we could get food and sort out what we needed. They were friendly and very accommodating, and we felt we got good value for our money. Thanks, you’re stars! I highly recommend them and will only stay at Bedrock if we travel that way again.

We’ve stayed here several times with Sharon, Rick and Babba (Collie). It works perfectly for an overnight stop on the way to the Cape or Gauteng, and the price is very reasonable. The owner is helpful and once stayed up waiting for us when car trouble delayed our arrival.

I was really disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this guesthouse. The grounds were unkempt, the rooms in a dismal state, the linen wasn’t clean, and there were dirty footprints in the bath. The lady running the guesthouse was very rude. She chased my kids out of their tiny swimming pool, saying they would waste the water. People charge for a stay but seem to take no pride in the service they provide.
