Protea Hotel by Marriott Polokwane Ranch Resort

The clubhouse has snooker, table tennis, and a mini golf course, and there are vending machines for snacks and cigarettes. There are two pools, one cold and one heated, plus a jacuzzi. The restaurant is well catered for, and Halaal food can be arranged too. This is one of my favourite hotels around polokwane, and the staff are always friendly.

The proposal is what made our stay at Protea Hotel by Marriott Polokwane Ranch Resort from 26 Apr - 27 Apr one of the most special moments of my life. I had booked a Standard Room and the Presidential Suite (OG1). The Standard Room was already very nice, and the staff had made the suite look beautiful, with rose petals arranged in a heart on the bed. My girlfriend had no idea. Earlier, I surprised her with a hot stone treatment at the clubhouse spa. The staff were so friendly, taking us around in golf carts and dropping her at the spa while I went back to get ready. Afterwards we had cocktails by the pool, then went on a game drive. We saw all kinds of animals, and the guide’s humor and friendly manner made it even more fun. That evening I led her along the romantic garden path and told her there was one more surprise. When she saw the setup in the OG1 suite, her eyes filled with tears. There was a little box among the roses on the bed. I asked her to open it, but it was empty. Then I asked her to turn around, and I was on one knee with the ring. That was the day we got engaged. The food was great, the service was amazing, and the staff put so much effort into every detail. The resort feels luxurious and fancy but still warm and down to earth. I’d honestly love to get married here one day. Thank you to everyone at Protea Hotel Polokwane Ranch Resort for helping make one of the best moments of our lives.

That Lifestyle Challenge weekend at Protea Hotel Ranch Resort felt so special, and we left with memories we won’t forget. The setting was peaceful, the rooms comfortable, and everyone made us feel welcome. From the moment we arrived until we left, the hospitality was warm. Such a lovely place to relax and spend time together. Can’t wait to come back with family and friends tiii ✨🤍
