The rooms have everything you need, and mine was comfortable with a balcony. There’s safe parking, a braai area, and a swimming pool, and it’s good value for money. The owner was great and made sure we felt welcome. I loved the homey feel, the lovely people working there, and my stay overall. I’d absolutely come back and recommend this guesthouse to anyone travelling to Bloemfontein.

On our way back from Cape Town, we stayed here for the night. The owner was very nice, and our room was clean. It was a very pleasant stay.

We booked a third stay, but after I gave our arrival time as about 30 minutes away, we waited outside for 45 minutes. We phoned, rang the bell, and hooted, but nobody let us in. We eventually found somewhere else to stay and were more comfortable there. The earlier visits had problems too. On the first, in 2022, we arrived at 5 pm. The lady insisted we pay right then because her worker had dinner plans with friends. The POS wasn’t working due to loadshedding, but she was in a hurry and rushed us because of her plans. On the second visit, one gate’s remote didn’t work, so the cleaner gave me the other gate’s remote and told me to park there. After 9 pm, the lady knocked on my door and said I was in another room’s parking spot. I had to move the car with both my child and baby.

It’s always clean and has everything I need for business trips. Being away from home can be hard, but this guesthouse feels comfortable and home like. It feels safe for women, and the owner and host is one of the most down to earth people I’ve ever met. I always stay here when I’m in town for business.

The rooms are lovely and the location is ideal. I’d just like the owner to show a bit more patience and empathy toward the people they serve.
