The host was nice, and there's a lot of potential here, but what we found didn't match the beautiful photos. The pool was empty, with a cracked-looking base that seemed to have been out of use for years. Dust was on the bedding and throughout the rooms, and barely any water came out of the shower. The pictures may be ten years old. With a proper deep clean, a pool refurbishment, and some upkeep for the beautiful garden, this could be worth visiting.

We really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was delicious, and the friendly owners were so accommodating. The gardens and pool were lovely, with peacocks, springbok, ostriches, a gemsbok, and two beautiful sheepdogs that made me smile. Our pet-friendly cottage was comfortable and clean, with proper bedding and pillows that were great for my neck. It had a double bed, a single bed, an extra couch, and a self-catering kitchen. The 300m dirt road was fine even for my car. The room was nice and clean too, and there was airiness to the place.

The bread was really good and well priced. We had a relaxing stay in a lovely north-facing room, and the hosts did a lot to make sure we were comfortable. There was air conditioning and electric blankets, plus an extra heater on cold evenings.

The hosts were friendly and went out of their way to meet my dietary needs. It was great value for money, too. The accommodation was amazing, with a beautiful setting, cute animals around, and gorgeous peacocks strutting about.

I love staying on farms or outside the CBD, and this place was just what I wanted. My last day is here, and I'm already telling Hennie I'll definitely return. I enjoyed the large room, vintage furniture and decor, the pool, and the different animals. I walked around the property, dipped my feet in the pool, and spent time both working and relaxing in my room. The cook served splendid meals all week. I'm still here and having such a good stay.
