The facilities are good and the location works well. Service could use some investment, since it’s what rounds out a top-class stay.

It’s 3AM and the noise is still so bad that none of us can sleep. We booked here to rest before going to a funeral in the morning, after travelling from Gautenf. I called reception for help, but it didn’t make a difference. I’m embarrassed that I booked this place for myself and the three gentlemen from our church. This is the loudest place we’ve ever experienced.

The room wasn’t very clean, and there was an odd smell that may have been coming from the carpet. The property itself is lovely, and there’s a Casino; amenities are also within walking distance.

The location is really good. Just be aware that some rooms are very near the casino, and smoke gets in.

It used to be such a beautiful hotel, which makes this sad. My stay was at one of the worst places I’ve ever been: filthy and poorly maintained, with horrible food that really needs a visit from health inspectors.
