The rooms are spacious and private, with everything needed for either a quick business trip or a leisure break. My stay was quiet and serene. Debbie and her husband are so welcoming and friendly, and Debbie's service is superb. It's always a pleasure to stay at Schenage Guesthouse.

We loved our stay in Rose Room. It had lovely decor and was well lit, with a security gate and security door. There was a king-size bed, a lounge chair, dressing table and mirror, cupboard, kitchen table with two chairs, cutlery, aircon, DSTV and screen. It's semi-self-catering, with a microwave, kettle and bar fridge. The people were amazing.

At Schnehage, everything was clean, cozy and beautifully arranged. It was so quiet and peaceful that staying there felt like heaven, just the place to unwind and breathe. I felt welcome right away when I arrived. Alinah made sure of that, and Debbie checked on me as soon as she got home. The owners were away on holiday when I booked, but they stayed in touch to make sure I arrived safely and had everything I needed. It was a wonderful experience from the booking onwards. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, near Life Rose hospital and two large malls. I can recommend Schenage to anyone needing a place to stay in Bloemfontein.

We've stayed at the Schnehage Self-Catering Units twice on our way back from the coast, in Jan 2021 and again in Jan 2024. The host is kind and communicates clearly, and the units are conveniently located in a quiet area near the highway, shopping centers and restaurants. The rooms are beautiful, tastefully decorated, very clean and have a calm feel. Everything you might need is there, including hand soap, shower gel, tea, coffee, milk and even a few rusks. We'll definitely be back!
