Warthogs Bush Camp

The lack of heaters was a real problem during the early winter conditions we got in late April and early May 2026. There were none in the rooms, and none in the dining area, which is basically outdoors. My partner and I struggled to enjoy dinner and spent most of our time in the room instead. Aside from that, I'd highly recommend giving this place a try. It's worth it. The service was exceptional from check-in to check-out, and Micheal, the lodge manager, was welcoming and readily available whenever we needed help.

We even had a floating breakfast and dinner prepared by the hillside. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and Olebogeng at the restaurant gave us outstanding hospitality. Michael welcomed us warmly when we arrived and made us feel at home. He's incredible and knows his job. Booking was just as smooth, with Brenda staying responsive and patient from my first contact. The whole team delivered exceptional service, and my stay was nothing short of perfect. I can't recommend this lodge highly enough.

The room, food and warm welcome made our stay feel like home. A big thank you to The Manager Bra Mick and his team for making it so special. We'll definitely be back.

We loved the animal views during the road trip to Warthongs bush lodge and had a wonderful experience with the food, place and staff. The booking staff were friendly and helpful from the start. When we arrived, Manager mr Michael gave us an incredible welcome. He's hands-on, very friendly and a great storyteller, and kept helping us throughout. Ole was especially kind, respectful and down to earth, always willing to assist. The other staff member was helpful too, including when we asked him to take a few pictures by the pool. If you love nature and peace, this is a great experience. I'd rate it 100/10 and recommend it to everyone.
