My Friday night check-in at Lantern Guesthouse went smoothly, and I had a wonderful stay. The place is clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Nicolette gave excellent service and went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. I’d rate Lantern Guesthouse highly and would definitely recommend it.

I stayed here last night and really enjoyed it. The room was very clean and spacious, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the air conditioner was in good shape. It was a peaceful, quiet night, and the woman who welcomed me was so friendly. I’ll choose this place again when I’m in Bloemfontein.

The apartment was spotless and thoughtfully laid out, with enough storage and a useful kitchen for our family of four. Its cliffside position felt private and secure. Even our late arrival after a long drive was handled smoothly, with clear communication and a warm welcome. What stayed with us most, though, happened after we had left Bloemfontein. My wife had misplaced her wedding ring, and other guests had since stayed at the property. Nicolette and Sophie took responsibility for finding it. Nicolette searched carefully, found the ring, packed it with care, and got it back to us in pristine condition. That kind of personal care says a lot about The Lantern Guesthouse. We trust them, and we’ll return and recommend them. Five stars don’t feel like enough.

On our way to KZN, we stopped here as a family and were pleasantly surprised. They found us a lovely family room at very short notice and welcomed us so warmly. We’ll definitely come back!

We had an amazing night at Lantern@innes on 2nd January 2026. The room was modern and beautiful, with a comfy bed and all the mod cons, including a temperature controlled air conditioner, wifi, and smart TV. This is definitely our go to place for another Bloemfontein stay. Highly recommend it!
