Charity, the Assistant General Manageress, is the reason my wife Rentia and I are happy to return to Birchwood Hotel. After our second weekend there fell short of the previous visit, I raised a detailed complaint. Charity listened carefully without interrupting or getting defensive, addressed each concern, and went further than we expected to make things right. She made us feel welcomed and valued again, and restored our confidence in the hotel. Her care and professionalism show real leadership, and other senior hospitality staff could learn from her. She's a real asset to Birchwood Hotel. The contrast between our stays was hard to ignore. Two weekends before that disappointing return, the service, accommodation, and atmosphere had been better than we'd experienced at other hotels where we had gold memberships. That first visit convinced us to move our loyalty to Birchwood Hotel. I won't go into the details of what went wrong the following weekend, but it dampened our excitement about making it our preferred destination. Despite that hiccup, Birchwood Hotel is still a gem, with outstanding facilities and comfort, and a team that can deliver great service and stand behind it when things don't go perfectly. We sincerely thank Charity for how she handled our concerns. Her effort didn't go unnoticed, and we'll gladly return.

We went to a workshop in a clean venue with great refreshments and equipment that all worked. Adjustments were made without interrupting us, which was a wow. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful everywhere, from the security gates to the restaurant. I'd definitely recommend it.

The conference rooms and boardrooms are great, and every staff member I've passed or dealt with has been friendly and helpful. I've stayed here a few times, and the service is always excellent. The rooms are more mixed, though. Some are nice, while others feel a bit disappointing for the price.

My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable after long workshop days, and the hotel has a calm, professional feel. The dinner and breakfast options were good too. It's a good place for conferences, meetings, and work travel. I had a few minor room issues, and one evening my passkey stopped working when I got back. Staff helped quickly and fixed it without much delay, which I appreciated. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay.
