I stayed for a month and had a wonderful experience. It was quiet, clean, and peaceful, within walking distance of a local beach and a few kilos from Kwadukuza townships and malls. I was a bit scared of snakes, though I never saw any. Lincey was good to me.

You can hear the waves crashing in the distance, and there's a stunning sea view from the balcony. Such a lovely, quaint little place to stay. The people were friendly and very hospitable. I'd highly recommend it.

The self-catering flat was very affordable and sparkling clean. I really appreciated the generous 5 litre bottle of fresh water. Personally, cotton sheets make a big difference to me compared with the polyester-cotton ones provided. I also like to darken the room at night, but the floodlight just outside the bedroom window made that impossible. I'd recommend moving it.

The rooms were a very decent price, the view was great, and we felt safe. Even though it's self-catering, I think they should check everything is clean before guests arrive. There were lipstick stains on the glasses. We also didn't feel we had much privacy. The owner would often call us about noise or other little things, and came into our room whenever we weren't there. It felt more like living with your parents than renting a BnB. Breakfast costs extra too. The hardest part for me was showering. The shower head sprayed hard, erratic spurts in every direction, so I had to move around to rinse myself. I'd come out with soaking wet hair and feeling really cold. It's hard to take a quick shower in a water restricted area that way.

If you're a black person, don't come to this guesthouse. The owner is racist. The lights kept going off while I was preparing for my presentation, and she blamed me for the power disconnection, saying they worked before I arrived. I studied electrical engineering at university and didn't want to argue with her. Breakfast was terrible.
