Beaumont Family Wines

Friendly staff and fair prices made this one of the best lunches we’ve had in a long time. The menu is fresh, healthy, and really tasty, with beautiful surroundings and gorgeous wines. I’d give them six stars if I could!

We stayed in the stables at Beaumont with family and friends. The cottages worked very well for two families, with a coffee machine, dishwasher, and fridge, so we had everything we needed for several days. The kids could wander freely over the broad lawns, while the old trees and historic surroundings made it peaceful for the adults too. We also loved swimming in the natural lake. Each morning began with coffee and a meal at the deli, both excellent. From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel at home with their warm, caring hospitality. Both families were completely taken with the whole stay, and we’d love to come back.

The port stomping was such a fun part of an already memorable evening. We were warmly welcomed, and the hospitality stayed wonderful throughout. There was a generous spread of wines to try, including magnum bottles, delicious port, and sherry. The food was just as good, from plentiful canapés to a fantastic main meal, all beautifully prepared. Thank you for a special night. We’ll definitely return.

We tried the wine tasting and had a light lunch. The venue was great, and the wines were fantastic, especially the chenin blanc. The lunch menu was interesting too. I’ll come back to try the red wines. Definitely worth a visit.
