The host was rude, and I left feeling I should get my money back. For what we paid, all we got was a bed and a toilet with no door between it and the bedroom. It was outrageously overpriced compared with cheaper B&Bs we've stayed in. There was no hot water when we had to check out, no TV channels, and no breakfast.

I spent ages killing flies one by one, about a hundred in all, while reception showed no interest in helping. The woman at the counter greeted us with total apathy, slouched all over it. The property is ugly, and the room was just passable.

The beds were great, I have to say. But the shower water was cold, the TV didn't work, and there was no Wi-Fi.

Nobody seemed to know who we were when we arrived. We'd called countless times to say we were on our way, but the staff were disorganised, unfriendly, and unable to communicate with us.

Handy for a short overnight stay. It felt safe, and being so close to both the main road and town made it really convenient.
