Peermont Metcourt at Thaba Moshate

The only thing that worried me was the noise visitors made in the corridors. I was due to check in at 8 pm but called to say I'd be late, and they responded positively. We arrived two hours later and were served very quickly. The staff were very friendly.

The rooms were okay, though they need basic maintenance. The hotel is nice and the staff are friendly, but security seemed questionable. There was no access control to the rooms or even when entering the casino premises, and we didn't see any guards by the rooms.

The rooms were tidy and decent for a short stay, but need some maintenance and upkeep. My room seemed to have had a connecting door, and I could hear the guests next door, so it wasn't soundproof. The food and breakfast weren't great, and reception service was poor. The woman there was unfriendly and unhelpful when we first arrived.

The only good service came from the restaurant staff. Everything else was unbelievably bad. The room I was first assigned still had beer bottles from previous guests. The replacement room had supposedly been cleaned, but the bath was dirty, other people's hair was there, and the plug let water out while I was bathing. The receptionist was rude. The woman working with Mahlatse looked visibly irritated with my friend and me when we questioned the service. The phone wasn't working, and as with everything, they blamed housekeeping, saying housekeeping should have given us reception's number.
