The home cooking was classy, with very generous portions. The owners are friendly and make you feel at home at this great little family hotel. There's a small, clean pool to relax beside, plus covered seating and afternoon shade from the nearby trees.

Nell made one of the best vegan breakfasts we've ever had, which was such a lovely surprise. The hosts were exceptional, and the mountain views from this stunning Klein Karoo spot made it a peaceful place to rest and recharge. We enjoyed staying here so much. Calitzdorp is a must visit, and Calitzdorp Country house is a wonderful place to stay and make your time extra special.

We loved spending two nights here as a family. It feels like countryside, yet town is only a five-minute drive away, and the location was perfect. The hosting was warm and friendly, and the guest folders had useful information that made our walk around town really enjoyable. We'd happily recommend their dinners too, especially with the fabulous local wine list.

The owners are what make this cute Guesthouse special. We only stayed one night, but actually wished we'd booked longer. It's a nice little village. Thanks Andrew and Nell!

Andrew and Nell Rogers made us feel so welcome, and the rooms were clean, neat and comfortable. The setting and view are lovely. Be sure to try Nell's homemade Lasagna, it's well worth it. A great stop on a trip through the Garden Route and Klein Karoo.
