I’ve stayed in a lot of places, and this was the worst accommodation I’ve experienced. The rooms aren’t cleaned properly, and complaining several times didn’t change anything. I contacted them because the wifi wasn’t working, after checking in advance that it would be good enough for me to travel and work at the same time. I complained for a week and got no reply. They take your money and then forget about you. The place calls itself Luxury, but there’s nothing luxurious about it. It’s really expensive for what’s offered and for its reputation. There are already enough bad reviews that people should stay away, and the accommodation doesn’t seem to care about reviews or its reputation. If you’re wise, run from this place.

We tried to leave after the first night and get a refund, but that was refused. We stayed three days and were given two rooms on separate floors. It felt more like a guesthouse than a hotel. Although the map makes it look central, the surrounding area seemed dark and unsafe for walking. Breakfast was at a café in the same building, but it didn’t start until 8:30 a.m. The owner had to check first whether it was included, and preparation took almost half an hour, so we couldn’t get going before 9. The meal was actually good: juice, a sausage, two slices of toast, scrambled eggs, and a tomato slice. Coffee cost extra. There was a lot of noise from people and cars, and the corridors smelled of marijuana. On our last night, there was a fight and someone threw a stone that broke the glass at the main entrance.

After the gas still wouldn’t work when I tried it several times, I went to reception. The receptionist listened with some other workers, then they spoke in their language and laughed. She told me it was self-service and I needed to learn, which I didn’t like. Maintenance later came to my room and found a small fault.

One on Albert seems like a good investment to me. It’s near the CBD, reasonably priced, well maintained, and has decent security. As one of my customers, you might expect me to feel obliged to support it, but that’s not why I think well of the premises.
