We loved relaxing on the terrace and watching the sun go down over the Atlantic. The nearby beaches and restaurants were easy to explore, and the villas themselves have lovely ocean and Table Mountain views. Our villa was spacious and elegantly designed, with high-end furnishings, a private pool, and lush gardens. Everything felt well thought out, from arrival onward. The service was warm and attentive, and our requests were handled with a smile. Funkey Villas made for a luxurious, peaceful Cape Town stay, and we’d recommend it to anyone looking for privacy and a touch of paradise.

We got around by Uber to the nearest hop-on hop-off bus stop, which was easy and cheap. There’s a grocery store beside that stop, though you’ll need a delivery app for adult beverages. The villa was in good condition and sat in a beautiful Cape Town setting. I wasn’t keen on the unattractive furniture covers, which made me feel they didn’t trust guests to be responsible and took away from the atmosphere. There were also little signs saying they count all the books. I promise I’m not interested in stealing them!

Nada was especially friendly, and the service was excellent throughout. Our apartment at The Funkey Villas had a private pool, two bedrooms with double beds, and loads of room in the kitchen and bathrooms. The view was astonishing, looking out to sea and back toward the mountains, including Apostels and Lion Head to the side. It’s a beautiful place to stay in Camps Bay, Cape Town, and I’d recommend it to anyone. Pure magic.

We’re travelling from the UK for our friends’ wedding soon, and our booking was cancelled today because of a calendar mix-up. We’d made the reservation a year ago, so I can’t understand why the problem wasn’t caught earlier. With so little time left, our accommodation options are now really limited. The booking agent found an alternative, but it’s 20km away, which doesn’t help us at all. I hate leaving a negative review, but I’m so disappointed.
