I was in Cape Town for a family celebration and managed to book Flavours in Gordon 's Bay. I’d stayed at Flavours before lockdown, when the owners were still finishing the garden and terracing, but I’d forgotten just how special it is. The private, quiet setting is beautiful, with tastefully decorated rooms, private gardens that give it a Mediterranean feel, and incredible views. The hosts add thoughtful touches like toiletries, flowers, and a jar of sweets beside the bed. I felt so welcome and comfortable. I can't wait to return, hopefully for a longer stay. Sylvia & Derek, well done on creating such a special place.

The beds are luxurious and comfortable, and the hosts handled load shedding effortlessly. The peaceful location also let me get a lot of work done. When I took a break, I was surprised by how much there is to do in and around this lovely fishing village. I'll definitely be going back to this little home away from home :)

We really enjoyed the privacy of our unit, and the views were amazing. Our stay at Flavours was magnificent, with the hosts making sure everything was ready before we arrived.
