It's a lovely place, with beautiful surroundings and friendly staff. The stairs up to the top bedrooms are a problem for older people who need help, especially when they have to carry their own luggage.

The setting is beautiful, the rooms are lovely, and the staff are amazing. Great food too!

We stayed over on Saturday, and I found the staff pleasant. It was a very cold day, so we asked to have the lounge TV and fireplace turned on to watch rugby. They told us neither was working, which felt disappointing and unwelcoming. If those facilities aren't working, where is the manager who should make sure the establishment is fit to receive guests?

The golf course view from this peaceful setting was lovely, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean but only average, and the shower was a tight squeeze. Breakfast was simple, with not much variety. A fire in the lounge would have made for a lovely atmosphere.

We found the peace and quiet we needed on the private patio, and even spotted the ‘local resident’ enjoying the greenery. The bed was comfortable, the buffet breakfast delicious, and we were greeted so warmly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return!
