Circa On The Square Hotel

The rooms really impressed me. They’re spacious, modern, and well furnished, and the inside of the building is clean and looks good. The outside doesn’t make a great first impression, though. Staff were welcoming and friendly, and I thought it was good for the price. I stayed four days. Parking was a tight squeeze for a van, and there’s a R100 per night fee to store your car. You can book through the website, where apparently parking is included.

I’ll come back next time I’m in Cape Town. I enjoyed the safe feeling, the wide rooms, the TV, and the regular housekeeping, and I can’t think of anything bad to say about my stay. The staff were so helpful, even letting me take breakfast upstairs to my room. The hotel has everything you need and the customer service was really good. Thanks for looking after me.

This time I brought my spouse to Circa for the first time, and now he loves it as much as I do. We had a Penthouse with amazing views and clean, modern rooms. It felt like good value, and I’ll be back like usual.

The apartment itself is very nice, but the way things were handled was poor. I rented it for a month and paid, then was told afterward that I couldn’t stay for the whole month and would have to leave for two days in the middle. I should have been told before paying. I was also told I had one day each week to clean the apartment and dishes. The agreement was that the dishes and everything in the apartment would be cleaned, but the dishes were only cleaned once. In the middle of the month, I stopped cleaning them myself, which I didn’t think was his right. The next week I stopped that arrangement.
