1 Mountain Rd Boutique B & B

A quiet mountain getaway that worked perfectly for 3-4 days of relaxing and getting away from things. The room was incredibly comfortable, and with the curtains open I could feel the sun on my cheeks. Couples or solo travelers would both enjoy the spot. The owners are lovely people and live there, so be sure to respect their space. I can’t quite put the whole experience into words, you have to try it yourself.

Ray and Sanchia made me feel so cared for during my last stay. They’re incredibly hospitable and always went out of their way to make me comfortable. The rooms are luxurious and the views are stunning, but it’s the personal touches that make the place special. They left chocolates on my bed, kept my room light on when I was coming back late, and checked that I was safe and had what I needed. They made my birthday week feel extra special. 🥰🤗💕

I absolutely loved staying at 1 Mountain Road Boutique B&B and hope to return many times. The hosts, Sanchia and Ray, are welcoming and helpful, and made me feel at home right away. The spacious rooms were spotless and comfortable, with stunning views of Fishhoek and beyond. They’re on a 5 star hotel level, and the care put into every detail made this one of my best travel experiences. As a woman traveling alone, safety matters a lot to me, and I’d rate it 10/10. Parking was great, and the rooms have their own entrances. The hosts live on the property, which I also found reassuring. One of the very best places I’ve stayed.

I stayed four nights at 1 Mountain Rd B&B, and the bedroom window looked out onto amazing views. There are chairs on the patio so you can sit and enjoy the scenery across Fish Hoek. My room was spotless when I arrived, and the bed was among the most comfortable I’ve had on my travels. Ray&Sanchia were friendly and happy to recommend local restaurants and scenic drives. I’d say having your own car is essential, since the local Uber service isn’t very reliable.
