The shops on the ground floor are nice, and Icon Building seems to be improving. It’s clean and well looked after now. Looks like a good investment.

Parking is the problem here, specifically the private lot across from the Icon building, not the building or Tennant's themselves. I was told it was reserved for people working in or around the building, but the person at the boom asked what I could pay him to let me park while I went to a meeting. There’s hardly anywhere else nearby, which made the whole thing ridiculous.

There’s plenty close by, from laundry and a coffee shop to a nail salon and a number of restaurants. Food Lovers Market is among them, with several fresh-food counters and a buffet.

Our stay at Icon Luxury Apartments on October 4-5th was awful. The room was filthy and untidy, including the bedding, sheets, bathroom, floor, light switches, fridge and towels. One towel was wet. I have photos. I contacted the host two minutes after checking in, and she only said she’d already left. Don’t book here, they don’t respond to emails and they drop your calls.

Since I work in the Icon Building, I booked a room for one night. It was really comfortable, and I had a great experience.
