The rooftop sunset views were beautiful, and the location worked perfectly for me. I could walk to my Citi bus, and the room at Awali Lodge had a very comfortable bed. Cleaning service was good too.

The rooms were tidy and clean, with tasteful decor, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Having secure parking was great, and we could walk to the mall. The location is excellent, close to beaches, wine routes, and just about anything else you might want.

There’s a small kitchenette with a kettle, toaster, and microwave, plus a modern bathroom. The rooms are spacious and the mattresses very comfortable. The location also makes it quick to get to everything Cape Town has to offer.

The kitchenette hadn’t been cleaned properly. There was old food left in the microwave, the basin was dirty, and dust covered the shelves and blinds. The glasses weren’t clean either, and the knives and forks still had grease on them from the previous guest. The host said she hadn’t had time to check whether the room was properly cleaned.

I used the conference venue. The food was quite acceptable, but the power facilities are a bit lacking and the room could use air conditioning. The bathroom was also rather small and inconvenient.
