Our anniversary trip felt like a second honeymoon. Bezweni Lodge is warm and cosy, with the elegance of a boutique hotel, yet you still feel connected to nature. From the retreat, the panoramic views of False bay and the surrounding mountains are second to none. It’s a sparkling diamond among the fynbos. I can’t wait to visit again.

The setting has a beautiful backdrop, but the service felt lacking and not especially welcoming.

A fantastic little boutique hotel with six rooms, tucked away off the beaten track.

Such a shame. The lodge was completely destroyed by fire in January 2017, despite being in such a beautiful location.
