The host was so friendly and accommodating, and the place itself is beautiful. There’s nice outdoor seating and the neighborhood is very quiet. UCT is only a couple of minutes away. I usually skip breakfast, but my wife and friend both enjoyed theirs in the morning.

Jenny and Johan make the place feel warm and welcoming, and they were friendly and attentive hosts. I stayed in the Scottsbury room, which suited one person well. Everything was clean and neat, and I appreciated the complimentary drinks in the bar fridge. Breakfast was delicious, and I enjoyed chatting with the other guests each morning in the fun atmosphere. The location felt safe and convenient, within walking distance of UCT, public transport, shops, and restaurants.

I was their first client after the Covid 19 lockdown, and they had made all the preparations needed to welcome visitors while following strict rules. My room was spotless, tidy, and warm, with all the basic essentials ready. The hosts were friendly and did everything they could to make it feel like a home from home. Breakfast was delicious and generous. The location is perfect, with everything you need close by if you'd rather stay indoors. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was made fresh each morning, and they really listened to my dietary needs and preferences. The owners were so kind and welcoming, and our room had that comfortable, at-home feel. It’s a cozy place where you feel like part of the family. I’d happily recommend staying here.

The hosts were wonderful, and breakfast was absolutely excellent. It’s a lovely place in a great location, with very nice rooms too. The one thing I’d change is our bed: it was a standard-length double, and I wish it had been bigger and better quality.
