It’s a peaceful area, and Canal Walk is just a seven-minute walk away, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and entertainment.

The host was excellent, and the apartment came with condiments and everything we needed. We stayed in a well-equipped place with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

It was clean and had what I needed, but the place felt cold and not very homely, almost like student accommodation. It was a bit cramped too, especially the bedroom. You couldn't open its windows, and there was no natural light.

We arrived at the agreed time, but nobody was there to greet us. The Guest Information in the room was out of date. We ran out of cooking gas on day two, and it wasn't replaced until the next day. The intercom battery was dead, so we couldn't contact security, and the TV and decoder batteries didn't work either. We called Johannesburg about those, but they were never replaced during our stay. We had booked seven days and ended up staying only six. The White lady named on the Guest Information Note was aggressive and unhelpful when we spoke with her. It's a disgrace that she's managing some of the units here.
