The cottage is well equipped, with comfortable, nicely appointed bedrooms and a lounge where you can relax after a day of riding or exploring. The kitchen is excellent if you want to cook for yourself, and there are also plenty of restaurants nearby. Lovely hosts. I highly recommend it.

John and Sharon were great hosts, and we could use the pool whenever we wanted. John is into mountain biking like I am, and he took me along the many trails in Tokai Forest. We stayed at Bicycle Lodge in December 2020, during COVID. There were lots of restrictions, but we still had an amazing time. The place has plenty of privacy and a lovely garden, plus two comfortable bedrooms and a living room with a kitchen. When we return to South Africa, we’ll definitely check availability at Bicycle Lodge.

Tokai is well situated for beaches, vineyards, walks in Tokai Forest, and plenty of good shopping and dining. My wife and I stayed in this excellent, well-equipped cottage for four weeks, and the hosts were extremely accommodating.

John and Sharon were lovely, and the cottage is nice. Just be aware there’s a risk of mosquitoes, and there’s no air conditioning.

We’ve stayed here several times and always found it a wonderful place with very nice people. The house and garden are beautiful, with lots of space and splendid surroundings.
