We loved the room, which was huge and beautiful, especially the bathtub and comfortable bed. Breakfast was outstanding too, with fresh croissants, a full English breakfast and a lovely fruit salad. The hosts were generous and made us feel so welcome. We were visiting family in Somerset, and the location worked perfectly; the surrounding area was gorgeous. We wish we could’ve stayed longer and will be back. Thank you!

Breakfast was a real treat, and Johan is an artist in the kitchen. Johan and Jo-Ann are wonderful hosts who made us feel at home straight away. The room was spectacular and comfortable, and the place is perfect for kicking back and relaxing. We loved staying here and will return as soon as we can.

A warm welcome and superb breakfasts make this beautiful guest house a favourite. We also love the silver cutlery and crystal glassware. Johan, the artist and owner, designs the fruit platter. The location is handy for exploring the Winelands, Stellenbosch, Somerset West and Strand.

Lovely owners who pay attention to the details, and Johan makes a delicious breakfast. The fruit platter is a highlight. It’s a top-class guest house in a peaceful, upmarket area, with spacious, clean rooms.

We’ve stayed with Johan and Joann three times now, for Cape Town marathons and a business trip. We know we’ll be in good hands: they’re great hosts, their house and garden are beautiful, and breakfast is delicious. We can definitely recommend the guesthouse.
