There was lots for kids and adults to do, from kayaking and volleyball to the zip line and swimming. The lake is huge and beautiful, with modern waterski equipment for beginners and more experienced people. Kids can swim in their own areas, and there are spots for younger and older children to jump off rocks into the lake. The pool looks out over a small wetland area. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the restaurant had decent quality food at good prices. Really worth a visit.

I don't recommend it. They insisted I pay 120 ZAR upfront for lying on the grass when it was too cold to swim, then said I could have paid later because tickets can't be refunded.

We always have a great time here. The 50% off ski specials are a big part of what makes the trip worthwhile.

Please look into the Carte Blanche investigation and the videos on Instagram about the drownings before booking. Based on media sources that can be easily searched, the owners will not help search for a missing child on their premises. The following concerns come from reports and public comments, and I'm sharing them in good faith. Some comments suggest that management's help was seen as inadequate during past incidents involving missing children. I've also seen concerns in public social media posts, which are easy to find, about supervision in some shallow children's pools, especially where the depth changes suddenly. I don't have personal knowledge or verification of these claims, and I'm not endorsing them. I'm not trying to allege misconduct. I hope the new management keeps prioritising safety and oversight and shows that through action rather than responding defensively to reviews.
