Blueline Villa

The sea view and full moon, with nature all around and such a peaceful setting, made our ladies getaway feel unforgettable. Blueline Guesthouse was beautiful, clean and well cared for, and became our home for the weekend. Millicent was helpful throughout booking and always answered our questions, while Gavin gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. We had an awesome time. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a phenomenal getaway. Five stars hardly feels like enough. Thanks again, Millicent and Gavin.

We weren’t mobile, so we carried everything we needed for the weekend. There was a halaal convenience store on the main road just a three-minute walk away, where we could pick up samoosas. The roads felt very safe, which is rare in South Africa. Dean’s service and Happiness’s radiant face added a lovely human touch to the natural setting. My family and I spent 23-26 July at the Blueline guesthouse in Seaforth, Simonstown, and the few days were so wonderful I had to get home, sleep, and wake up in familiar surroundings before I could believe they’d really happened. With the mountain behind and the ocean below, the scenery brought peace and quiet, and made it easy to forget the anxiety and organised chaos of the third Covid-19 wave and recent riots. It really has a wow factor for a restless soul. The five kids were clearly disappointed when we had to leave. We hope to return for a longer stay soon, God willing. Thank you for an amazing weekend. Everything we needed was in the house, and it was really comfortable. The balcony view was beautiful, and everything was nearby. We had a wonderful stay, and I’d recommend it to anyone planning to stay in Simons Town.

We had a memorable time thanks to Gavin and his team. The place was clean and well maintained, with amazing views of the ocean and Kogelberg Mountain. It was peaceful and close to nature reserves, including Cape Point. When we needed something, it was promptly arranged, including tours around simonstown.
