We stayed in the back row, where the units are elevated and look out over the sea, Table mountain, Robben Island, and mostly natural landscape behind the still undeveloped area. The gated security is very good. The complex is just off Big Bay’s main road, opposite Seaview village centre. We rented the Penthouse suite, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a double garage, and a large kitchen that worked well for self catering. The downside is the slow drive to the city centre because of the low speed limits. That’s fine on holiday when you’re not in a hurry. There are plenty of restaurants a few minutes’ drive closer to Bloubergstrand, and Seaview Center has a Spur, Ocean basket, and lots of small shops.

I like coming here regularly for the weather, the lovely ocean view, and the surrounding buildings.

A new development is opening now, just a few hundred metres from the beach. It looks like it’s going to be amazing to live here!

It’s very neat and has great security. It’s a shame parking is limited and there aren’t communal areas where people can get together.
