I wouldn't recommend this place. The apartment was dusty and filthy, with contractors' bubble wrap still there and dirt on the floor. The towel provided for the whole weekend was torn and tattered. The Wi-Fi didn't work, and there was no soap or bathroom amenities. Feedback was met with blame being passed around instead of consideration for guests. More than a week later, management still hadn't responded. This is definitely not the luxury Penthouse advertised. Worst experience in Cape Town.

For the price we paid, this level of service was unacceptable. We stayed seven days, and housekeeping skipped most of them without explanation. Nobody told us or apologized; we only noticed when we came back in the evening after being out all day. They hadn't provided basic cleaning supplies either, not even dishwashing detergent or a broom, so we had no way to keep the place tidy. Very disappointing.

I won't book here again. I was on a business trip and had booked two nights, but the front office Manager's service was extremely disappointing. After I lost my parking ticket, Nozi said she couldn't help and that it wasn't her problem, then ignored me for almost ten minutes while I nearly missed my flight. She said things in front of the other staff that I can't repeat publicly. A security guard eventually went to ask the parking officer for help. I paid R150 even though parking was included in my booking. Later, when I found the ticket and called to request a refund, the hotel declined. I've since learned other colleagues have also had poor service here.

The cleaning staff were good and did their best with what they had, and the front desk was helpful. For everything else, the back office was completely unhelpful and unfriendly. I was there for three months, but they treated me as if I'd only stayed one day. Requests were ignored, denied, or dismissed with nonsense explanations. It's better to handle things through the front desk. The place is bad for long stays, so be careful. The homepage is misleading: all listed inventory depends on availability. They claim the rooms are non-smoking, but people are allowed to smoke on every floor and in every room, including marijuana. The exhaust doesn't work well, so cooking leaves the room full of fumes and a stinky, oily atmosphere. The whole house reeks of old grease and food. There are no air conditioners or fans, even if you ask. Sometimes the balcony has no seating, and there's no dishwasher. Cleaning happens at random times, and staff may disturb you, for example at 8 am on a Saturday. There are no do-not-disturb signs. If you ask them to come later, that means no cleaning until the next day.
