Cape Grace, A Fairmont Managed Hotel

The festive season made the stay feel even more magical, and there were lovely little surprises throughout the hotel. I enjoyed finding the many books to read, along with all those small details that brought moments of joy. The rooms were beautifully decorated, and the employees were warm and attentive throughout. I stayed at the Cape Grace hotel Waterfront a week ago. From the moment I arrived, the heartfelt “welcome home” made me feel genuinely at home. Thank you for such a welcoming, joyful visit. I hope to return home again soon.

The concierge team’s suggestions helped us shape our last few days in Cape Town, and we even took the hotel car and driver for a guided trip around Bo Kaap, which felt really special. The staff were attentive and welcoming throughout. Our room was spotless and roomy, with thoughtful comforts and welcome gifts that made us feel spoiled. From the balcony, Table mountains rose on one side and the V&A Waterfront surrounded us, making for picture-perfect views. Cape Grace is a stunning property, and it made our final days in South Africa memorable.

We had such a lovely honeymoon here and were so glad we chose it. Everyone, from the doorman through housekeeping, seemed happy to be at work, and that really came through in the way we were treated. It’s one of our top three hotels anywhere. The kitchen deserves a big thank you for the delicious food, and the staff kept bringing our iced shaked coffee with a smile. We’re in love with this place!

Aidan and the concierge team helped us plan things and gave us recommendations, which we loved. The breakfast and bar were lovely too, and the room had so much attention to detail. From the doormen welcoming us back to every staff member looking after us through checkout and beyond, Cape Grace made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We can’t wait to return.
