The grounds were lovely, and we enjoyed the enclosed patio looking out toward the birdfeeder, garden, and pool. Our hosts, Andre and Ursula, were very gracious. They gave us maps, brochures, and activity and sightseeing ideas that suited our tastes. Ursula’s in-home hair salon came in handy for my husband, who got a neat haircut there. We stayed in the largest of the three rooms, which was spacious and immaculate. Milnerton was a quiet, safe, very walkable location near the beach, eateries, transport, and a grocery store. We didn’t have a car, and having the MyCiti bus stop just a few blocks away was a huge bonus. The only drawback was patchy wifi. Andre added a signal extender, but we still had to find the right spot. There was no signal in the bedroom, only on the patio. The good points far outweighed that inconvenience. We highly recommend Cape Hermitage and would stay again.
