The garden is exquisite, the room was beautiful, and the staff were amazing. The best!

The owners bring a real warmth to Cape Village Lodge, making you feel like part of the family from arrival. They go out of their way to meet and exceed guests' needs, whether with personal recommendations for exploring the area or just a lovely conversation. Their hospitality is a big part of what makes the place special. Attention to detail shows in the tasteful decor in the shared spaces and the well-kept rooms. From the moment I arrived, it felt less like ordinary accommodation and more like coming home to dear friends. Cape Village Lodge is a memorable experience, with thoughtful finishing touches and a level of hospitality that made it one of the best places I've ever visited. Five stars hardly seem enough.

The gardens are gorgeous, and there's a lovely soaking pool. The private rooms have shaded verandas, with shutters you can open to let in more sun. Inside, the decor is modern and comfortable, the lighting creates a relaxing mood, and the fixtures and appliances are high quality. Breakfast was a good continental spread with hot food made to order and cappuccinos.

I loved how quiet and private the whole place felt, a real break from the busy city. The garden is amazing, and the rooms feel like little houses. The service was great, with thoughtful personal touches throughout. A stunning place, and I loved my stay.
