Daddy Long Legs Self Catering Apartments

Best sheets and pillows I’ve ever had at a hotel, surprisingly thick, good cotton. The place was clean, comfortable, and secure, and the people were kind and helpful. The location was perfect too. It was quiet about 97% of the time, though a nearby apartment, not the hotel or its lobby, played music one of our three nights until around 10. No big deal.

The balcony was our favorite spot, with a nice view over town and a glimpse of Table Mountain. We loved the hotel’s interior too. We spent eight nights here, and the central location made it easy to get around: Ubers and buses were easy to catch, and shops, restaurants, and bars were all within walking distance. There’s a mini bar where you can have coffee and muffins in the morning, or beers and other alcohol. The staff were helpful and accommodating, and suggested activities for us. The view is beautiful and the self-catering apartment is really nice, but it’s right above a bar or club. The music makes the floors shake, and you can hear people shouting and talking in the early hours, so sleeping just isn’t going to happen. It could be fun if you’re out partying, but I wouldn’t recommend it otherwise.

We had a wonderful seven-day stay at Daddy Long Legs Art Hotel for my birthday, which fell on New Year’s Eve. The artistic feel made it a memorable place, and Mani and the whole staff gave us such good service. They really went out of their way. The owner has a great team there, and this was one of the best customer experiences we’ve had in a long time. The internet was fast enough for us to get some work done, and we can’t wait to come back and try the "Emergency Room." A creative, welcoming, central spot in Cape Town. Highly recommended, and thanks for the unforgettable stay!
