My in-laws slept really well here, and said their room was a great size with everything they needed. They also loved the owners, who made the stay feel personal, and thought the chef’s breakfasts were great. The guesthouse is beautiful, with a lovely patio or balcony for relaxing or eating, a tranquil garden, and a pool for summer. The interior is well kept and has a grand feel. There’s secure parking, and it’s a short drive to local shops, restaurants, and petrol stations. Durbanville’s location is central but secluded. Thanks for taking such good care of my family. Knowing they were comfortable and looked after made the visit much less stressful for us.

The food was amazing, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I had a wonderful time at this beautiful guesthouse. I’ve read the bad reviews, but I can’t agree with them. What those people experienced and what I did were two different things. I’ve always felt that your attitude toward people and the surroundings shapes the quality of your life. If I’m in the Cape Town area again, I’ll definitely return.

I stay here regularly on business trips, and it’s a real gem in Cape Town. The venue is beautiful and feels safe, and it’s very well managed. Breakfast is great. You can get to Cape Town and the Winelands, including Stellenbosch and Paarl, without the traffic.

The room was small but comfortable, and I found the TV hard to work out. Dinner was a disaster: it had been prepared in the afternoon, left on the dining room table under cling wrap, with a note to heat it in the microwave. I won’t be returning. 🚶♀️➡️

We spent a week here for our company roadshow, and everything worked well, from the conference room and catering to the rooms and breakfast. Jan and Karen were very friendly and gave us excellent service. The ladies also kept the coffee brewing throughout the event. It’s ideal for business travelers, and I’d highly recommend the conference room for a small meeting or conference.
