Disandt House by Neighbourgood

The staff friendliness was the best part, and it was excellent. The house is nicely decorated with lovely furniture. We appreciated being told we’d received a free room upgrade. At breakfast, warm croissants were brought to our table, which was very nice. There are a few service details that could be better. Since the place has only just opened, I’m sure they’ll be addressed. We arrived without knowing parking was only on the street, and I couldn’t park in a secure area. I would have expected to be told about that beforehand. The receptionist was SUPER friendly and welcoming, but check-in felt confusing and unorganised. Breakfast was unclear too. No tables were set up, so we didn’t know where to sit, and there were no serviettes until we asked the receptionist for one. Nobody explained how breakfast worked or how to order coffee. A self-service machine on the buffet counter would be a good idea so guests could help themselves. The hot breakfast menu looked appealing, so we ordered the full breakfast for both of us. The chef was very sweet and friendly when taking our order, and the plates looked beautiful when they arrived. Unfortunately, all the food was cold.

Zee and Smart made everything easy, from check-in right through to leaving. They were attentive whenever we needed them. The villa itself was spotless and comfortable, with a lovely finish that felt luxurious without going overboard. It was a real highlight of my city break, and I’d book it again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.

The ocean view was beautiful, and our room looked stunning. The staff were so friendly too. We had a wonderful stay at Disandt House and will definitely come back.

We left already wishing we could return very soon. The rooms at Disandt House are gorgeous and spacious, and the staff were wonderful. Such an incredible stay.
