There are some serious problems with this apartment, so be cautious about booking it. During our 10-day stay, the street was loud all night with racing cars and people shouting, and the upstairs tenants made plenty of noise during the day and evening. The thin curtains let in so much light that it felt like daytime at night, and the dirty living room windows spoiled the view. The shower was broken and sprayed water around the bathroom. It took two days to fix. We also found urine and blood stains on the bedding only after we’d used it. The internet was extremely slow and sometimes unavailable, and Apple TV was of little use without good internet or local TV. The oven door gaskets need repair, the sofa bed sagged in the middle and was uncomfortable, and the deep tub was difficult to get in and out of with no grab bars for safety. The location near the waterfront is good, and the unit could be nice with maintenance. As it is, though, it feels overpriced, and better value is available elsewhere.
