The rooms were comfortable, the service was great, and the views were lovely. It has a little village feel, and the rates were very reasonable. Getting an Uber was easy, with all the neighbourhoods no more than about ten minutes away. It’s high up a big hill, but I thought it was worth it. Being away from Cape Town’s busy bustle made it easy to relax.

The hotel has lovely vibes, and the staff felt so warm and familiar, like people I’d known for years. At breakfast outside, everyone was looking at their phones and not interacting. Then the waiter started singing “There’s no business like show business,” which made me laugh, put my phone away, and enjoy the delicious food. We stopped for a late lunch at this beautiful place up in Bo-kaap. The dining room is gorgeous, with sweeping views over the city, and the setting has a rich colonial history. Even the parking lot has breathtaking views, probably the best in CT. The staff seemed happy and were helpful with our BYO wines, since there’s no liquor license. The menu is small but carefully selected. Definitely worth a visit.

We travel internationally a lot, and this is among the best hotels we’ve stayed in. The value is amazing. Everything we ate here was better than the other food we had in Cape Town, especially the beautiful breakfast buffet. The staff were incredibly kind and hospitable, and both the grounds and rooms are gorgeous, with all the amenities you’d expect from a 5-star hotel. It felt intimate and carefully put together. We can’t wait to come back to Cape Town and stay here again.
